Ginger
I found this tip somewhere on the internet, but I've suffered from heartburn or acid reflux stuff a couple times a week for a few years. It would wake me up once or twice a week while sleeping. But recently I found out that ginger helps relieve heartburn/acid reflux. I tried it and I have been so amazed at how well it works. I've been taking one ginger pill a night with dinner and have had no symptoms for the past 2 months. The amazon ad here is the pill I have been taking. I wouldn't say I ever had heartburn/acid reflux stuff really bad, but bad enough to wake me up at night. It's pretty amazing to me that companies make drugs to do something that this does naturally. I've also started adding ground ginger into my cooking.

Whats in your produce?
Found this article on USA today discussing pesticides in fruit and veggies. I find interesting because my most eaten produce is all on the dirty list. Foods that contain larger amounts of pesticides. I don't know if I think it is a big deal or not. I do know I'd rather avoid them than find out however. Just found it interesting and thought you might as well. I'm sure people have seen information like this before. But does it change how you consume produce? Does it change your buying habits?

Natural Living Tip
I have been looking for ways to save money and put less chemicals into our environment. Part of this comes from a class where we saw all the things that go into our water system and its kind of disgusting. I will see if I can find the flash animation we made. It was mostly dealing with drugs and other things that are disposed of in our water system (flushed down the drain).
Anyway onto the tip. This comes in 2 parts. Both are uses for cheap white vinegar.
1. You can use it to clean windows and mirrors (instead of Windex or similar product). This tip comes from my sister in law. I just couldn't believe how well it worked. Why is Windex made at all? It does an just as good a job if not better. Just pour a little onto a paper towel and clean the mirror like normal.
2. You can use it instead of Jet Dry in the dishwasher as a rinsing agent. I just started doing it and my dishes look fine (don't have anything to compare it with). We didn't use Jet Dry (way too expensive), but seems to work.
I'm sure that there are more uses.
